After being introduced to streetwear in the late 90s, the idea of self expression through unique fashion became very important to designer Ronald James. Coupling many original ideas with some inspiration from streetwear brands they had grown to love, Status Apparatus was born. The idea of the line is very simple:Everyone has a status apparatus. Your means of expression is whatever is important to you. Each person has a means to express their status. Your status is defined by whatever tool you use to do so, making expression one of the most powerful tools we have as human beings. Expression through intelligent, aesthetically pleasing, risk taking fashion is the mission. This is our status apparatus.

Status Apparatus apparel is inspired by the idea that high quality, limited quantities is the way to go in the fashion world. It is this belief in anti-mass consumerism, reasonable price points and quality designs, that the company believes will leave a positive impact on it’s customers. The eventual goal  for the brand to be a lifestyle brand consisting of  denim, t-shirts, outerwear, graphic t-shirts, headwear, and accessories.
